In-house Scanning
Ship your parts to our Costa Mesa facility for fast turnaround. Most parts scanned same day or next day, processed and delivered within 24–48 hours. No travel costs, controlled environment.
Shop Scanning
Our Costa Mesa office includes a dedicated 800 sq ft warehouse equipped for full shop captures in a controlled environment. Reserved for large scans like vehicles, fixtures, and heavy machinery.Â

Do you come to our facility in Orange County?
Yes. Our mobile scanning team brings equipment directly to your facility. We work around your production schedule, no shipping, no transit risk. We serve all of Orange County from our Costa Mesa base.
What file formats do you deliver?
STEP, IGES, and XT as standard. Also native SolidWorks (SLDPRT/SLDASM) and 2D drawings in PDF or DXF. Let us know your downstream software and we’ll match it.
How accurate is your 3D scanning?
Our scanners capture geometry to 0.02mm resolution. Final CAD accuracy depends on part complexity, but we hold tight tolerances on all production-intent deliverables.
Most projects are completed in 5–7 business days from scan to delivery. Rush turnaround is available, ask when you request a quote.
Do you work with ITAR-controlled parts?
Yes. Tangent Solutions operates an ITAR-compliant workflow. We work with defense contractors, aerospace OEMs, and government suppliers regularly.
